Off Trail Azeotrope, a malt-based distilled spirits brand created by Far Yeast Distilling Project, has released a new gin called "Malt Gin Gently Peated New Pot," a new sensation that is accented with a powerful peat-derived aroma! Far Yeast Brewing's wash (mash), specially brewed for distilled spirits at the Source Brewery, is carefully distilled twice in our own pot stills. The powerful aroma of peat, partly derived from the malt, is an accent, while the botanical notes of juniper berries are subtle, giving the malt flavor a gentle feel. This is a new type of craft gin that focuses on flavor, different from London dry gin.
