Share
Starting Thursday, August 8, 2019, craft beer brand Far Yeast will be releasing its limited edition brew , Far Yeast Peach Session .
"Far Yeast Peach Session" is a fruit ale made with plenty of peaches from Yamanashi Prefecture, perfect for summer.
This product uses peaches that are bruised or overripe (not up to standard). A total of 430kg of fresh peaches from 2019, harvested just the day before the beer was brewed, and some from 2018, were used. The entire brewing team spent about five hours processing the peaches into a puree.
[Processing status]
① Fill the tank with water and wash the peaches
② Remove the hair from the surface of the skin
③Beautiful peaches
④Cut each washed and cleaned peach into pieces.
⑤Cut each piece carefully
⑥Finally, puree it with a blender
This product uses peaches from Peach Senka Yamashita (Head office: Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture; CEO: Yamashita Kazuhiro), the peach farmer who operates the popular Yamanashi City cafe "Peach Farm Cafe La Pesca," which is used every year in our limited edition brewed products, including "Far Yeast Peach Brut" (released in March 2019). Peach Senka Yamashita's peaches are grown using "special farming methods" that utilize the power of nature to maximize the fruit's natural flavor.
The product will be available in two types: kegs and bottles. The kegs will be opened first at the "Craft Beer Fest Kofu" which will be held from Friday, July 26th. After that, both the kegs and bottles will be available nationwide from Thursday, August 8th.
We will continue to introduce new items such as limited edition brews, and aim to provide products that will please many people in a variety of everyday situations.
