The latest collaboration beer with BICYCLE COFFEE TOKYO, the limited-edition "Far Yeast Bicycle Coffee Lager," offers a pleasant balance of traditional lager and coffee. Shipments begin Wednesday, March 6th.

Far Yeast Brewing has collaborated with BICYCLE COFFEE TOKYO, a natural roastery based in the San Francisco Bay Area, to brew a limited edition Far Yeast Bicycle Coffee Lager, which will begin shipping on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.

　The collaboration with BICYCLE COFFEE TOKYO has been an annual tradition since the first collaboration on Far Yeast Bicycle Coffee IPA in 2017, and this year marks the eighth year. While most coffee beers are dark beers such as porters and stouts, in recent years, driven by a desire to explore the possibilities of coffee in a different style, the brewery has continued to take on the challenge of creating unique products , including coffee-based IPAs, saisons, golden ales, and Off Trail bread pale ales.

Our latest creation is based on our first ever traditional Vienna Lager, and is steeped in coffee beans blended and roasted specifically for this product at BICYCLE COFFEE TOKYO. After steeping tests with several different blends, we selected a 50% blend each of medium-roasted beans from Mexico and Ethiopia, which offered the best balance of fresh coffee bean aroma and a rich roasted flavor.

This refreshing and drinkable beer allows you to enjoy the marriage of simple lager and aromatic coffee.

"Far Yeast Bicycle Coffee Lager" will be available for purchase in limited quantities on the Far Yeast Brewing official web store from 12:00 on Tuesday, March 5th. Purchases on the official web store and shipments to beer bars, restaurants, and liquor stores nationwide will begin sequentially from Wednesday, March 6th.

The base Vienna lager, Far Yeast Malz Walzer, will also be released at the same time.
