Yakiniku & Craft Beer Den, our directly managed restaurant in Atami, Shizuoka, is currently recruiting a head chef candidate (full-time position) to help with new menu planning and cooking.
Located in the easternmost part of Shizuoka Prefecture, bordering Kanagawa Prefecture, Atami City is one of the closest resort areas to the Tokyo metropolitan area, with many tourist attractions such as hot springs and the sea.
Yakiniku & Craft Beer Den, which opened here in May 2019, is a yakiniku restaurant that serves Ozaki Beef, a brand of beef from Miyazaki Prefecture that only 40 head are distributed each month. The main drink selection is Far Yeast Brewing's draft craft beer, with eight types of guest beer always available from unique breweries not only in Izu but all over the country.
"You can enjoy rare craft beer from all over the country while eating the highest quality yakiniku," says the owner, and the restaurant has grown into a favorite among locals as well as tourists visiting Atami.
For this recruitment, we are looking for a "head chef candidate" who will not only handle cooking duties but also come up with new menu items, store displays, and more, and will be able to help run the restaurant with a wide range of discretion. Head chef candidate
・As an assistant to the store manager, you will be responsible for cost calculations and new menu planning.
・You will initially be primarily responsible for cooking in the kitchen, but will also be responsible for coming up with new menu items and store displays. This is a position with a lot of discretion.
・This store is able to handle Ozaki beef, of which only 40 head are distributed each month. We offer a wide selection of craft beers from around the country, with a focus on Far Yeast on tap, so you can learn about and gain experience in craft beer .
