Far Yeast Brewing has begun selling a Valentine's Day gift set exclusively on their online store, featuring a pairing of "KAGUA" and rare dried fruits from Yamanashi Prefecture sold by "FRUITEST."
Far Yeast Brewing's first Valentine's Day gift set is themed around "relaxing time at home" and offers the experience of pairing craft beer with fruit.
Since the state of emergency was re-declared on January 7th, many prefectures have been asking people to refrain from going out. With fewer opportunities to go out, I hear that many people are being more conscious of living a more careful life at home than usual.
It is in this context that Valentine's Day 2021 arrives.
Far Yeast Brewing is based on the theme of "relaxing at home" and offers a "craft beer x fruit" pairing experience to enrich your evenings at home.
We will deliver a rare dried fruit assortment from "KAGUA," which creates a special moment, and "FRUITEST," which is a concentrated, additive-free blend of three types of fruit that represent Yamanashi Prefecture: Guiyang plums, Shine Muscat, and Kyoho grapes, wrapped in Valentine's Day gift wrapping.
Using a special "rare-dry" method, these fruits preserve the sweetness, acidity, and aroma of fully ripe fruit, capturing their fleeting deliciousness. The fruit's natural aroma and refreshing mouthfeel allow you to clearly experience the strength of nature. Pairing it with the "KAGUA" series, made from traditional Japanese herbs Sansho and Yuzu, creates a mystical marriage of flavors, with a harmonious blend of umami, sweetness, bitterness, freshness, fragrance, and complexity.

Until now, you could only enjoy these fruits in their season, right where they were grown, but now we deliver them to you, capturing as much of their finest flavor and aroma as possible. <Guiyang (Plum)>
One piece is like a full course meal, with a sour taste taking center stage.
Guiyang plums are a high-quality variety that are difficult and time-consuming to cultivate. They have a strong sour taste immediately after eating, followed by a lingering sweet aftertaste. By drying them rare with the skin still on, we have succeeded in bringing both flavors together.
<Shine Muscat (grapes)>
The sweetness is complemented by the aroma of muscat grapes. A thoroughbred of the grape world.
Firm flesh, a strong sweetness of over 18% and a hint of Muscat aroma. This is a thoroughbred grape variety that everyone knows. The rare dry fermentation concentrates the sweetness to the utmost, without making it cloyingly sweet.
<Kyoho grapes>
The color remains unchanged even after half a century. Grapes beloved by grape growers.
Kyoho, the original premium grape, is unanimously called "the favorite" by grape farmers in Yamanashi Prefecture, the fruit kingdom. Even more than half a century after it was registered as a variety, its flavor and popularity have not faded. The taste of the traditional seeded Kyoho grapes from the Makioka district of Yamanashi City, which FRUITEST uses, is particularly exceptional. It has been carefully crafted with a balance of moderate sweetness and acidity that brings out the flavor's contours.

■About "KAGUA"
The original recipe (mixture) was conceived based on the concept of "a fragrant aroma that complements the Japanese dining table" and uses yuzu and sansho pepper, two herbs that are symbolic of Japan, and is brewed at a contract brewery in Belgium, which is our partner.
There are three varieties in the lineup: "Blanc," which uses wheat and has a gorgeous ester aroma and a fresh yuzu scent; "Rouge," which uses roasted malt and has a spicy Japanese pepper aroma and a fragrant malt scent; and "Saison," which has a fresh, fruity aroma.A major feature of these beers is that they can be enjoyed by pairing them with food, just like wine.
