Share
Nippon Craft Beer Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shiro Yamada) will begin accepting online pre-orders for a limited number of "KAGUA," a Japanese-style fragrant ale.
This will be the third time that limited quantities have been available for pre-order online, following March and July 2012. In both the previous two events, we only sold 100 sets, but they both sold out in a short period of time, so this time we will be increasing the quantity to 150 sets. Please note that KAGUA is not currently available in general retail stores and is only available at restaurants, with the exception of limited online sales such as this one.Implementation details

● Purchase benefits
This time, as a purchase bonus, a mini tote bag with the "KAGUA for YOU♥" logo will be included. We have received feedback from several customers who have purchased from us in the past that they would have been happy to receive it as a gift, so we have made this product large enough to hold two bottles of KAGUA, making it perfect for giving as a gift. We hope you will put your heart into this tote bag and give it as a gift to someone special. This beer (*1) was brewed by a Belgian brewer based on an original recipe designed by Nippon Craft Beer. Starting from the idea of "making a beer that complements the Japanese dining table enjoyable for people all over the world," it was realized after a four-year planning period and 14 prototypes. It uses yuzu and sansho pepper, two herbs that are symbolic of Japan, and its main feature is its "delicious fragrance that complements the Japanese dining table." There are two varieties in the lineup: "Blanc," a light-colored, top-fermented beer made with wheat, and "Rouge," a dark-colored, top-fermented beer made with roasted malt. Just like white and red wine, they can be enjoyed by pairing them with food. Since its launch on March 24, 2012, the beer has been well received for its meticulous taste, quality, and design, as well as its concept of being "a beer that looks great on the Japanese dining table." It is now sold in approximately 100 establishments nationwide, including Japanese restaurants such as Ginza Toyoda, which has been awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide, and the internationally acclaimed luxury inn Gora Kadan.
Sales have also begun in Hong Kong and Singapore since September 2012.
(※1) "KAGUA" is classified as a happoshu (low-malt beer) under Japan's liquor tax law.
