Far Yeast Brewing's "KAGUA Blanc" and "Tokyo White" won gold medals in the Fruit & Spice Ale/Belgian category and silver medals in the Belgian & French Ale/Belgian Wit Beer category, respectively, at the GREAT INTERNATIONAL BEER, CIDER, MEAD & SAKE COMPETITION (GIBCC) held in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA on October 26, 2019.
"KAGUA Blanc" is a dry-flavored beer with a moderate sweetness and bitterness, and a subtle acidity and spiciness from the Japanese pepper, creating a deep flavor. The fresh yuzu and gorgeous aroma from the yeast harmonize, and the subtle aroma of Japanese pepper tightens the aroma.
"Tokyo White" is a Saison beer characterized by its dry and sharp taste with little hop bitterness and a pleasant acidity. You can enjoy the fruity ester aroma and refreshing hop aroma.
