Limited release of "Japanese Grape Saison" in collaboration with Edge Brewing Project
Share
Far Yeast Brewing (hereinafter, "our company") will release a limited edition happoshu (low-malt beer) called "Japanese Grape Saison" in late October, in collaboration with Edge Brewing Project, based in Melbourne, Australia.
"Japanese Grape Saison" is a grape beer made with Yamanashi wine's signature varieties, "Koshu" and "Muscat Bailey A." It has a wine-like aroma, inspired by Australia, a region famous for its fine wines. It uses grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture and three types of hops: "Mercur," "Nelson Sauvin," and "Enigma." It features a complex fruity flavor with a hint of esters, and a dry, crisp finish. By letting it absorb air, like wine, new aromas emerge.
