Changes to product categories due to revisions to the Liquor Tax Act

Due to the revision of the Liquor Tax Act on April 1, 2018, the following products, which were previously classified as "happoshu" (low-malt beer), have been changed to "beer."

  • "KAGUA" Season
  • Far Yeast Tokyo Blonde
  • Far Yeast Tokyo White
  • Far Yeast Tokyo IPA
  • FINAL CUT Session Ale
As of April 1st, the label for taxable exported products has been changed to "beer." (For products taxed before March, the product label will be "happoshu.")

Renewal of the "Far Yeast" brand

In addition, to coincide with the revision of the Liquor Tax Act, we will be implementing a partial renewal of the "Far Yeaast" brand (recipe changes, etc.). In order to allow even more customers to enjoy the Far Yeast brand in the future, we aim to improve drinkability, add a lighter body, and a more gorgeous aroma.
