[Press Release] Announcement of the 4th Anniversary Event for the Release of "KAGUA"

Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shiro Yamada) will be holding a 4th anniversary event to commemorate the 4th anniversary of the release of "KAGUA" on March 24th.
"KAGUA" is a flagship brand of Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. that was launched in March 2012 with the desire to "make beer that complements Japanese cuisine enjoyable for people all over the world."
To date, we have expanded our sales to 11 countries around the world, including Japan, the United States, Asia, and Europe.
In addition, from the second half of this year, we plan to increase production even more than before due to the relocation and renovation of the local Belgian factory to which we outsource production.
We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers and everyone who has helped us reach our 4th anniversary.
We will continue to expand KAGUA into Japan and many other countries, conveying the appeal of our products to people all over the world, while also working to improve the value of our corporate brand in the medium to long term, and continue to provide products that are chosen by our customers around the world.

<About "KAGUA">
The original recipe (mixture) was conceived based on the concept of "a fragrant aroma that complements the Japanese dining table," and is brewed at a partner brewery in Belgium using yuzu and sansho, herbs that are symbolic of Japan. There are two varieties in the lineup: "Blanc," a light-colored, top-fermented beer made with wheat, and "Rouge," a dark-colored, top-fermented beer made with roasted malt. A major feature of these beers is that they can be enjoyed by pairing them with food, just like white and red wine.
Our products are sold in famous and popular restaurants that have been awarded stars in the Michelin Guide, as well as luxury hotels and restaurants overseas.
*Since "KAGUA" uses yuzu and sansho pepper, it is classified as a happoshu (low-malt beer) under Japan's liquor tax law.
*Although it is a happoshu, the malt ratio and manufacturing method are the same as beer, and the tax rate is the same as beer. Also, according to the standards of many countries, including Belgium where it is produced, "KAGUA" is classified as beer, so it is sold as beer in overseas markets.
