Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shiro Yamada) will release a limited edition brew, "Session Belgian Ale," under its craft beer brand "Far Yeast" on Friday, November 27, 2015.
"Session Belgian Ale" is made using Belgian yeast and flavored with yuzu from Kochi Prefecture and sansho pepper from Wakayama Prefecture. Yuzu and sansho pepper are the same ingredients used in our "KAGUA" beer, and this product uses the exact same ingredients from the same region and of the same quality. This product can be considered a limited collaboration between "KAGUA" and "Far Yeast," and has an impressive finish with the fresh flavor of yuzu.
The "Session" in "Session Belgian Ale" refers to a style of beer that retains the characteristics of the original beer style while keeping the alcohol content lower to enhance drinkability. This "Session Belgian Ale" has an alcohol content of 4.5% and is also characterized by its easy drinking.
