"Off Trail Azeotrope," a malt-based distilled spirits brand created by Far Yeast Distilling Project, has released a new product: "Lager Korn Kagua Distilled"! "KAGUA" is carefully distilled twice at the Braeckman Distillery, a Belgian distillery with over 100 years of history, and then aged for 20 months in red wine French oak barrels at Far Yeast Brewing's Genryu brewery. While retaining the aroma and flavor of malt, esters, and yuzu from the original liquor "KAGUA," aging adds a sweet vanilla-like scent and a ripe wine aroma, resulting in a distilled spirit with a complex character. This soft pink drink is reminiscent of rosé wine and is recommended to be enjoyed straight, twice up, or with carbonated water.
