This single-variety malt whiskey, brewed and distilled from Fritz barley grown on a single estate in the Skagit Valley, was aged for 36 months in six charred new American oak barrels, which account for 94% of the bottling, with the remaining 6% coming from whiskey aged for 60 months in Manzanilla sherry casks.
Classic single malt whiskey aromas abound: heather, cigar wrapper, and brisket char. Big notes of clover honey are followed by more heather, poached pear, and mocha. The finish is rounded out with more honey, graham cracker, and ripe fig.
