The base beer for "Attack of the Blood Oranges" is a Sour Blonde Ale aged for 11 months using Kviek yeast for the main fermentation. Blood orange puree, which seems to complement the grapefruit-like citrus and pineapple-like tropical notes unique to Kviek yeast, has been added. To further enhance the blood orange aroma, this time we deliberately omit a blend and finished the beer using only Kviek Sour Blonde Ale. The distinctive acidity of Kviek is matched with the freshness and subtle sweetness of blood oranges, resulting in a well-balanced, drinkable flavor.
