[About the winning products]

Gold Award: Off Trail - Azeotrope Malt Gin Distiller's Choice delta

This cask-aged gin captures the flavor of cask aging and the freshness of juniper berries . The raw spirit is distilled from the beer distilled in Belgium for our regular beer, "Kagua," and aged for 27 months. After aging in red wine barrels, the strong berry character of the raw spirit is removed from the barrel, and the excess aroma is removed to reveal a strawberry jam-like aroma.

Silver Award: Off Trail - Azeotrope HOP Authenticity

Focusing on hops, an ingredient in beer, Beer Distilled Gin is made by distilling our own beer that was going to waste and using hops as botanicals. The hop aroma is brought out through two approaches: "extracting the hop flavor contained in the raw beer" and "extracting the hop aroma added as a botanical."
