Far Yeast Brewing has been tasked with brewing "FC TOKYO GOLEDEN ALE," the original craft beer for Tokyo's leading soccer club, FC Tokyo ( Tokyo Football Club Co., Ltd., Head Office: Chofu City, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kawagishi Shigeya).
Sales will begin on Friday, May 3rd (national holiday) at the Ajinomoto Stadium for the 11th round match of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League against Kyoto Sanga FC.

"FC TOKYO GOLDEN ALE" was designed to enhance stadium viewing and create a new connection with football. Based on one of our signature beers, "Far Yeast Tokyo Blonde," this golden ale features a fruity aroma and a light flavor, enhanced with a new hop variety. Brewed at the Far Yeast Genryu Brewery in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, near the Tama River basin, where Tokyo's watershed forests are located, using water from Kosuge and Tanbayama villages. Based on the "fusion of old and new" theme of FC Tokyo's club emblem design, the hops used are the classic Cascade (citrus), beloved by breweries worldwide, and a new experimental variety, HBC586, which has yet to be officially named. The citrus and tropical aromas, along with the fruity hop flavor, create a well-balanced sweetness and bitterness, resulting in a highly drinkable beer. Inspired by FC Tokyo's "+1 GOAL" football style, this beer is called "+1 BEER." It's a flavor that'll leave you wanting another glass.

FC Tokyo's original beer, "FC TOKYO GOLDEN ALE," will go on sale starting with the 11th match of the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J1 League against Kyoto Sanga FC, which will be held at Ajinomoto Stadium on Friday, May 3rd . It will be sold at the FC Tokyo BR Kitchen in the Ajipen Square (north plaza) of Aoaka Park.
The price is 1,000 yen (tax included) per cup.
