February is still a cold month, but Genryu Brewery in the bitterly cold village of Kosuge is releasing a product that expresses our eager anticipation for the arrival of spring.
APRICITY, which represents the warmth of winter sunshine, is a high-alcohol Scotch ale with an alcohol content of 8.5%. One sip, combined with the gentle sweetness of the malt, will warm your body and soul.
Scotch ale, which originated in Scotland, is a style characterized by its high alcohol content and strong malt presence.
This time, we brewed the brew for a longer boiling time than usual to give it a fuller body. We also added cherry puree to the mix, adding a hint of sweet and sour cherry flavor to the caramel notes of the malt, resulting in a cherry-red Scotch ale that will raise your expectations for the coming spring.
"Far Yeast APRICITY" will be available for purchase in limited quantities on the Far Yeast Brewing official web store from 12:00 on Tuesday, February 6th . Purchases on the official web store and shipments to beer bars, restaurants, and liquor stores nationwide will begin sequentially from Wednesday, February 7th.
