While IPAs remain popular in the craft beer market, sour ales also have a dedicated following and are gradually gaining attention in Japan. Sour ales are sour beers fermented using lactic acid bacteria. While still rarely produced by domestic breweries, Far Yeast Brewing frequently releases them under its innovative barrel-aged beer brand, "Off Trail," which has earned it high praise from dedicated beer fans. Leveraging this knowledge, Far Yeast aims to deliver a "different beer experience" to a wider audience, not just beer fans, and to help them discover new facets of the brand . This limited-edition beer was born with that in mind. It retains the drinkability and pleasantness that are characteristic of Far Yeast. "We wanted to create something that would be enjoyed not only by beer lovers but also by those who don't like the bitterness of beer . " Aiming to establish a sour series, Far Yeast Brewing brewed the Double Dry Hopped Sour IPA, a dry-hopped sour ale, for the first time outside of "Off Trail."

Kettle souring using lactic acid bacteria brings out a gentle acidity, and dry hopping with three types of hops, primarily Nectaron, reminiscent of stone fruit, Citra, and Sabro, aims for a tropical and herbal aroma that evokes a sense of summer . The result is a Double Dryhopped Sour IPA perfect for this season, with a pleasant acidity and tropical aroma that evokes sweet and sour summer memories, and a smooth, mellow mouthfeel.

"Far Yeast SOURHOLIC " will be available for purchase in limited quantities on the Far Yeast Brewing official web store from 12:00 on Tuesday, June 13th. Purchases made on the web store will be shipped sequentially from Wednesday, June 14th to beer bars, restaurants, and liquor stores nationwide.
