BEERHOLIC Fukuoka store celebrates 2nd anniversary! Limited edition beer to be released
On June 1, 2022, BEERHOLIC, located in Ohori Park, Fukuoka, will celebrate its second anniversary.
Our store opened during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we would like to thank all of you for your support and visits since we opened.
To celebrate the store's second anniversary, BEERHOLIC's anniversary beer, BEERHOLIC Session IPA, will be available from Wednesday, June 1st .
The Ohori Park area where BEERHOLIC is located is a beloved sports and culture hub for Fukuoka residents. Located just a one-minute walk from the park, the store is visited early in the day by a variety of park-goers, including craft beer fans, runners, families, and tourists.
We wanted these people to be able to fully enjoy the fun of craft beer, so we chose a low-alcohol, refreshing session IPA that can be enjoyed from the daytime as our anniversary beer style.
Celebrating its second anniversary, BEERHOLIC Session IPA is a DDH (Double Dry Hopped) Session IPA. It uses Citra, Idaho 7, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Amarillo Cryo Hops® , which are known for their refreshing citrus aromas of lemon, grapefruit, and orange . The dry hopping uses Cryo Hops , a hop product that further concentrates the aroma components of the distinctive orange-like Amarillo hop. With just one sip, the juicy flavor of freshly squeezed orange juice fills your mouth. Despite its light alcohol content, it boasts a strong bitterness and refreshing taste, making it a satisfying Session IPA.
From June 3rd (Friday) to June 5th (Sunday), customers will receive an original sticker commemorating the 2nd anniversary. In addition, those who order BEERHOLIC Session IPA will be entered into a raffle to win a Far YEast Brewing logo T-shirt in a BEERHOLIC-exclusive color.
In addition, the restaurant will be strengthening its food menu to mark its anniversary.
The main menu item is a chicken burger, and it is designed to be enjoyed by a wide range of customers, whether they are using it as a beer bar or a cafe.
The fried chicken burger is based on the concept of "going well with beer." Chicken breast is cooked at low temperature until tender and moist, and then the outer coating is crispy in high-temperature oil with a blend of 12 spices. The burger's sauce is a delicious mayonnaise-based sauce with chili sauce and onion, creating an exquisite balance of spiciness and sweetness. The buns were specially made for this burger by the popular Takasago shop "Itoda Pan" in Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.
