Far Yeast Brewing's "Off Trail" brand celebrates its 2nd anniversary with a beer featuring the herbal aroma of juniper berries, "Off Trail Ginspiration 2021," which will be released on Saturday, November 13th.

To commemorate the second anniversary of the "Off Trail" brand , Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. will release "Off Trail Ginspiration 2021 " to the general public on Saturday, November 13, 2021, with pre-sales starting at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9 on the official online store.

■ Innovative beer brewing brand "Off Trail" celebrates its 2nd anniversary

"Off Trail" was launched in November 2019 as the third brand, following "KAGUA" and "Far Yeast." Using microorganisms other than beer yeast, the brand produces unique beers with rich and complex flavors through barrel aging, which involves aging beers in wooden barrels. "Kriek in the Barrel," released in February 2021, won a gold medal at the Asia Beer Championship 2021, a beer competition announced on October 28, and has received high praise internationally.

" Off Trail Ginspiration 2021 ," brewed to commemorate the brand's second anniversary, is the 2021 version of "Ginspiration," the brand's first product, released in November 2019.

■The first brand, " Ginspiration ," has evolved even further

Like the first Ginspiration, Off Trail Ginspiration 2021 is a beer made with juniper berries, which are also used in gin. This time, we've also added osmanthus and fennel to the botanicals to create a more gin-like nuance. Our regular beer, Far Yeast Tokyo IPA, is aged for six months in barrels previously used for red wine and gin, and then juniper berries, osmanthus, and fennel are added to further enhance the beer's crisp bitterness.

The aroma of spicy herbs, licorice, peach blossom, barrel-derived tannins, and bitter hops are brought together with a light body and gentle carbonation to create a barrel-aged IPA with a sophisticated and complex flavor. This is a beer that embodies "Off Trail," a spirit that breeze past the beaten path without being bound by rules or conventional wisdom.

"Off Trail Ginspiration 2021 " will be released nationwide on Saturday, November 13th, and advance reservations will begin on the official online store from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 9th .

■Offering a 2nd anniversary "Off Trail" tasting set at the Gotanda store

To celebrate the second anniversary of "Off Trail," Far Yeast Tokyo Brewery & Grill, a directly managed store in Gotanda, Tokyo, will be offering a limited-time beer flight (tasting set) from mid-November, allowing you to compare "Off Trail Ginspiration 2021" and other beers from the past series. (Details will be announced on the official SNS.)

Additionally, from Tuesday, November 9th, the official online store will be selling a limited-edition special set * celebrating the brand's second anniversary, which includes eight of Off Trail's past works and two exclusive glasses.
