"NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" 6th release: Sweet and creamy like dessert, "Coconut Milk Pudding Hazy IPA" and "Cherry Tart Milkshake IPA" to be released simultaneously on Friday, October 29th

Far Yeast Brewing will release "Coconut Milk Pudding Hazy IPA" and "Cherry Tart Milkshake IPA" as the sixth installment of the "NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" on Friday, October 29th.

The "NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" is a project launched at the end of 2019 by a group of craft beer-loving professionals from various fields, including brewers, fashion, graphic designers, and architectural designers.

The sixth in the series, " Coconut Milk Pudding Hazy IPA " and " Cherry Tart Milkshake IPA ," are based on Milkshake IPA *1 , which, like the previous ones , has a thick mouthfeel and the sweetness of lactose. We aimed to create unique pastry beers *2 that have a sweet sensation, like devouring a pudding or tart.

*1 Milkshake IPA:
This IPA-based beer is made with lactose added, and has the bitterness of an IPA, plus a sweet taste, and a creamy mouthfeel with aromas of tropical fruit and vanilla.
*2 Pastry beer:
Pastry refers to bread and confectionery in English, and is a general term for beer that has a rich, sweet taste like sweets.

■『Coconut Milk Pudding Hazy IPA』

As the name suggests, this beer is inspired by pudding topped with plenty of coconut milk. The base beer is flavored with coconut, giving it a distinct caramel and coconut milk flavor. The smooth texture of the lactose makes this a new type of hazy IPA that feels like drinking pudding.

■ 『Cherry Tart Milkshake IPA』

This cake is inspired by a moist cherry tart, with sweet and sour cherries baked in a coconut-infused crust. Instead of the sweet cherries typically eaten raw in Japan, which have a high sugar content and are very sweet, it uses tart cherries, which are used in cherry pies and cakes and are characterized by their strong sourness, creating a wonderful contrast between sweet and sour. Enjoy it as a relaxing dessert after a meal.

" Coconut Milk Pudding Hazy IPA " and " Cherry Tart Milkshake IPA " will be available nationwide from Friday, October 29th. Pre-orders will begin on our online store from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 19th (shipments will begin sequentially from Thursday, October 28th).
