Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. will release "Off Trail Hops and Dreams , " the 15th release from its "Off Trail" brand, which strives to brew innovative beers , on Friday, August 27th. Pre-orders will begin on the official online store from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 10th.

" Off Trail Hops and Dreams " is a dry-hopped barrel-aged blonde sour ale made by dry-hopping a barrel-aged blonde sour ale with the experimental new hop variety "HBC630. "
This new, as-yet-unnamed hop, "HBC630," has distinctive aromas like raspberry and cherry that are unlike any other hops we've used before, resulting in a complex, fruity aroma.
This is the third dry-hopped sour from the Off Trail Project, following "Traverse" in collaboration with West Coast Brewing and "Event Horizen" in collaboration with Uchu Brewing. The challenge was to create a fruity flavor using only barrel-aged beer and the power of hops, without using any fruit.
When poured into a glass, it releases a sweet, candy-like ester aroma and the sweet scent of freshly picked peaches and bananas. With one sip, the tropical lychee and apple cider flavors from the base beer burst into your mouth, and the hop aroma reminiscent of raspberries and cherries transports the drinker to a dream world.

[What is Off Trail?]

Launched in November 2019 as a follow-up to the two brands "KAGUA" and "Far Yeast," "Off Trail" is a brand that explores new possibilities in craft beer. Its name comes from the image of forging ahead on unpaved roads, setting itself apart from well-paved roads. The beer is brewed using the barrel-aging method, whereby beer is aged in barrels previously used for wine, sake, and whiskey, in order to develop rich and complex aromas by utilizing microorganisms other than brewer's yeast. The brand explores unique flavors by blending seasonal fruits such as grapes and peaches, as well as regional specialties, to match the characteristics of the base beer.
