Another collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops. American Noble Triad IPA, a blend of three American Noble Hops™, will be released on Sunday, April 25th.

Starting Monday, April 25th, 2021, we will be collaborating with global hop supplier Yakima Chief Hops® ( headquarters: Washington State, USA, CEO: Ryan Hopkins ) to release American Noble Triad IPA, which uses three types of the innovative hop product American Noble Hops™ , on Sunday, April 25th.Pre-orders will begin on our official online store from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13th.

Since 2019, Far Yeast Brewing has participated in Yakima Chief Hops' hop selection events, visiting hop harvesting and processing sites, attending various seminars, and selecting and purchasing hops to deepen its interactions with hop growers and suppliers.
Meanwhile, Yakima Chief Hops is actively working with leading breweries around the world to develop beers using new hop varieties and hop processing products, testing the hop flavors in actual beers and obtaining useful feedback.

In February 2021, we collaborated with Yakima Chief Hops to release two beers, " American Noble Citra IPA" and "American Noble Mosaic IPA," using "American Noble Hops ™, " one of Yakima Chief Hops' innovative products that is still rarely used in Japan.
American Noble Hops ™ is designed to impart the fruity and tropical flavors characteristic of hops grown in the Pacific Northwest, such as Citra®, Mosaic®, and Simcoe®, while reducing the impact of the bittering components caused by the high alpha acids. This product also brings out the mild, refreshing aroma and flavor of traditional European noble hops.

This time, the beer will be made using three hop products from American Noble Hops ™ : Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe.
The recipe has been adjusted to take advantage of the profiles and characteristics of each of the three hop varieties, and the grapefruit-like citrus aroma of Simcoe has been added to the strengths of the previous Citra IPA and Mosaic IPA, resulting in a more citrusy, fruity aroma and flavor.

Enjoy this unique style of beer, which has a strong hop aroma comparable to that of an American IPA, but with less bitterness and a smooth, elegant taste.

"American Noble Triad IPA" will be available nationwide from Friday, April 25th, and pre-orders will begin on our online store from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13th (shipments will begin sequentially from Wednesday, April 21st).

*What are noble hops?
These are traditional hops that have been used in beer brewing in Europe for a long time. They have a clean bitterness and a refreshing aroma. There are restrictions on the name of hops depending on the components they contain, and the four types known as noble hops are Saaz, Hallertau-Mittelfluh, Spalter, and Tettnanger.
