Far Yeast Brewing, which moved its headquarters from Shibuya Ward last October, is now offering craft beer as a hometown tax return gift in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture.

Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd., a craft beer maker that distributes original Japanese beer all over the world, has announced that its craft beer will be available as a hometown tax return gift in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where the company's headquarters and brewery are located, and applications are now being accepted.

In October 2020, we relocated our head office from Shibuya Ward, Tokyo to Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where our own factory, Genryu Brewery, is located. The brewery was established in 2017 in Kosuge Village, located at the source of the Tama River and blessed with abundant nature and water. Since then, we have been involved in various initiatives in collaboration with Kosuge Village and local businesses, including participating in the village's Tama Genryu Festival and brewing limited edition beers. Since relocating our head office, we have further strengthened our ties with the local community, including brewing and selling beer using Kosuge Village plums, and are actively working to employ local residents and encourage them to move to the village.

For the first time, our craft beer will be featured as a gift in Kosuge Village's hometown tax return program. Applications are now being accepted for an assortment of Far Yeast brand's popular classic craft beers, the Tokyo Series and the Genryu Series, on two websites: Furusato Choice and Rakuten Hometown Tax. Brewed at the Genryu Brewery in Kosuge Village, this craft beer offers a rich, high-quality aroma.
We will continue to share the joy of unique craft beer and strive to contribute to regional revitalization through beer brewing.
