"NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" 2nd Release: Sweet-Tasting Beers "Hotcake Hazy IPA" and "Marron Milk Shake IPA" Released Friday, December 25th

Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture; CEO: Shiro Yamada), a craft beer maker that distributes original Japanese beers to the world, will release "Hotcake Hazy IPA" and "Marron Milk Shake IPA" as the second releases of the "NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" brand on Friday, December 25th. Pre-orders will begin on Monday, December 7th at 1:00 PM on their official online store.

The "NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" is a project launched at the end of 2019 by a group of craft beer-loving professionals from various fields, including brewers, fashion, graphic designers, and architectural designers.
Based on the concept of "craft beer x creativity x entertainment," Far Yeast Brewing is in charge of brewing beers that will surprise, inspire, and entertain. Their first beer, "BIRTHDAY GREETING HAZY IPA," won second place in the IPA category at the JAPAN BREWERS CUP 2020 in January 2020.

The second two releases, "Hotcake Hazy IPA" and "Marron Milk Shake IPA," are a new genre of "sweet hazy IPA * " that offers a melting mouthfeel and a sweet-like taste that is perfect for this cold season.

*Hazy IPA:
This style is defined as "Juicy or Hazy India Pale Ale" in the American Brewers Association's Beer Style Guidelines. As the name suggests, it focuses on bringing out the "juicy flavor" of hops and is characterized by its cloudy appearance.
Although it's a new beer style defined in 2018, it's popular among craft beer enthusiasts and is currently one of the most talked-about styles. It's also sometimes called New England IPA (NEIPA) or Milkshake IPA.

 ■Drinkable hotcake beer? Hotcake Hazy IPA

The fragrant, sweet aroma of butter from freshly baked pancakes, the sweet taste of maple syrup that spreads with every bite... This is a new type of sweet hazy IPA created with the concept of "drinkable pancake beer" in mind, aiming to create a beer that brings about such an exquisite feeling of happiness. The candy-like packaging makes it a fun beer to look at.

■Tastes like a marron milk shake Marron Milk Shake IPA

A sweet Hazy IPA made with piping hot, sweet chestnuts. This Milk Shake IPA has just the right amount of chestnut flavor and a mouthfeel that's reminiscent of a thick, sweet milkshake. Its strangely addictive flavor makes it hard to stop drinking, just like a milkshake.

Pre-orders for "Hotcake Hazy IPA" and "Marron Shake IPA" will begin on Monday, December 7th at 1:00 PM on our online store, with shipments starting on Friday, December 18th. They are scheduled to arrive at liquor stores and restaurants nationwide from Friday, December 25th.
