Limited brew "KAGUA" Blanc Special Edition 2018 released

Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shiro Yamada) will release "Blanc Special Edition 2018," a limited edition brew of its craft beer brand "KAGUA."

"KAGUA" Blanc Special Edition 2018 is a limited edition product based on the recipe of "KAGUA" Blanc, which boasts fresh yuzu and gorgeous ester aromas, and a soft carbonation achieved through secondary fermentation in the bottle. It uses a stronger yeast and increases the alcohol content to 10%. The expiration date is set at 5 years, and this is a "matured" "KAGUA" Blanc that allows you to enjoy the mellowness of the yeast with age.

Recipe Concept

This special edition was born as a way to enjoy the aging of Kagua. In 2013 and 2017, we released the Kagua Rouge Special Edition. Now in 2018, we are finally taking on the challenge of creating a Blanc Special Edition. This strong ale-style beer is even drier than the regular Blanc, and offers the aroma of yuzu and sansho pepper, as well as a robust, satisfying finish.

When it's fresh, you can enjoy the freshness of the yuzu. As it ages, a gorgeous estery aroma is added, giving it a more mellow flavor.

The product will be available in three varieties: a 20L keg, a 330ml bottle, and a 750ml bottle. Both the keg and the bottle will be available for purchase from Tuesday, October 2nd.
