Limited edition brew "KAGUA" IPA released
Starting May 23, 2018, the craft beer brand "KAGUA" will be releasing a limited edition "IPA" (IPA).
"KAGUA" IPA is a Belgian IPA characterized by its fresh and vibrant aroma, made with yuzu from Umaji Village, Kochi Prefecture, one of the Japanese herbs used in the existing "KAGUA" series, and citrus-flavored hops such as Citra. You can enjoy the soft carbonation from the secondary fermentation in the bottle and the aroma derived from Trappist yeast.
This product is also the first limited edition product in the "KAGUA" series in a year since the release of "KAGUA" Japanese Citrus Saison in May 2017.
The label color is the traditional Japanese color "Yuzu leaf color" (yuzu-iro), which expresses the aroma of yuzu and the greenness of hops. The color is literally derived from the yuzu leaf and is sometimes read as "Yubai-iro."
The existing "KAGUA" labels use traditional Japanese colors: chalk powder for Blanc, madder for Rouge, and turmeric for Saison. The addition of the yuzu leaf color for the IPA to the three colors of "KAGUA," which were previously available in the auspicious "red and white" and the "golden" turmeric, will make the beer even more vibrant and appealing to any occasion.
The product will be available in two varieties: a 20L keg and a 330ml bottle. Both kegs and bottles will be available for purchase from May 23rd.
In addition to Japan, the product will also be sold in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea.
