Limited edition brew "Far Yeast Genryu FEST" released

Starting November 6th, 2017, Far Yeast will be releasing a limited edition craft beer called "Far Yeast Genryu FEST," produced in Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, where the company's own factory, Genryu Brewery, is located.

Kosuge Village, located at the source of the Tama River, holds the "Genryu Festival" every year on May 4th, where the whole village comes together to welcome visitors. A project team of village volunteers formed to create a beer inspired by the festival, planning the concept, recipe, and label design, and have now completed "Far Yeast Genryu FEST." To express the village's hospitality and warmth, the beer has a low alcohol content and a low bitterness, creating a friendly flavor.
This first release of "Far Yeast Genryu FEST" will be unveiled at the Earth's Blessing Festival, but from now on, it will be produced in time for the Genryu Festival on May 4th every year.

"Kosuge Village in Yamanashi Prefecture, located at the beginning of the 138 km Tama River, has been promoting village development with the keyword 'source' since 1987. In 2005, the National Source Village Council was established, and the association has been working to consider the importance of environmental conservation in the source areas, which has a direct impact on people's lives, and the mission imposed on us who live in the source areas. We hope that through Source FEST in the future, as many people as possible will become interested in the source and realize its importance."

The product will be available in two varieties: a keg and a bottle. Prototypes of both the keg and bottle will be unveiled at the 20th Yamanashi Prefecture Kosuge Village Earth Blessing Festival on Saturday, November 4th, and will then go on sale from Monday, November 6th.

We will continue to introduce new items such as limited edition brews, and aim to provide products that will please many people in a variety of everyday situations.
