Japanese-style fragrant ale "KAGUA" now on sale in Canada and Vietnam

Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. will begin selling its Japanese-flavored ale, "KAGUA," in Canada and Vietnam.

In Canada, KAGUA will be sold through Metropolitan Premium Wines & Sakes, a company that sells high-quality wines and sake, primarily in Ontario, Canada's most populous province and political and economic center.
Canada is adjacent to the United States, which leads the global craft beer market, and has been drinking craft beer since early on, with many microbreweries in the country. On the other hand, Japanese craft beer is not yet well known, so demand is expected.

Following on from Canada, KAGUA is scheduled to go on sale in Vietnam in September 2017. Vietnam has been growing in appeal not only as a production market but also as a consumer market due to its recent economic growth. Influenced by Western and Japanese influences, a variety of food trends, including craft beer, are spreading. While beer has traditionally been popular, craft beer is also becoming increasingly popular, especially among Western expatriates in the country.
To begin sales in Vietnam, the company has signed a sales partnership agreement with the local Vietnamese company "6Drunk Men." Headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, the company is a major importer in Vietnam with a customer base in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Sales in the country will begin in Ho Chi Minh City, with plans to then expand to Hanoi.
