Far Yeast Session Belgian Ale Edition 2 is now available (recommended as a Valentine's Day gift).
Far Yeast's limited edition brew, "Session Belgian Ale," was released in the winter of 2015 and has already sold out. In response to popular demand, we are now releasing Edition 2.
Like the previous brew, "Session Belgian Ale," this highly drinkable beer is made using Belgian yeast and flavored with yuzu from Kochi Prefecture and sansho pepper from Wakayama Prefecture.* Edition 2 removes the herbs used for flavoring at the end, resulting in an even cleaner, clearer taste than the first edition.
*Far Yeast Session Belgian Ale uses yuzu and sansho pepper as secondary ingredients, so it is classified as a "happoshu" (low-malt beer) under Japan's liquor tax law.
Session Belgian Ale Edition 2
Flavored with yuzu and sansho pepper, Edition 2 offers a cleaner, clearer taste than the first edition.
