Japan Craft Beer Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shiro Yamada) will be changing its company name to Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (pronounced: Far Yeast Brewing, English: Far Yeast Brewing Company) on Friday, October 30, 2015.
Former company name: Nippon Craft Beer Inc.

<Background and purpose of the company name change>
Founded in September 2011, Nippon Craft Beer has been a phantom brewery without a brewery of its own, producing products through contract brewing, but is currently preparing to launch its own brewery in Japan. With this as a backdrop, we have decided to change our company name to "Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd." in order to further clarify our position as a craft beer "maker."
Far Yeast is the name of the craft beer brand that we have been developing since 2013, and it embodies our desire to "disseminate attractive beer to the world from Japan, which is a far east and a remote region compared to Western Europe, where beer originated." As this is exactly our business concept, we decided to use "Far Yeast" as our company name.
The name change is subject to approval of a partial amendment to the Articles of Incorporation (change of trade name) at the Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2015. The name change will not affect the currently offered "KAGUA" and "Far Yeast" brands, and both brands will continue to be offered under the name "Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd."
