Introducing a low-alcohol IPA from the Hop Frontier series, which explores the science of hop aroma! "Far Yeast Hop Frontier Micro IPA," made with Yakima Chief Hops®'s latest hop oil, will be available exclusively on Tuesday, June 18th.

Far Yeast Brewing will begin selling limited quantities of "Far Yeast Hop Frontier Micro IPA ," a low-alcohol version of its classic beer "Far Yeast Hop Frontier" (hereinafter "Hop Frontier"), on its official online store from Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

■ "Hop Frontier" maximizes hop aroma with a scientific approach
　Hop Frontier, released in 2021 as Far Yeast Brewing's new standard product, is a beer that was one of the first in Japan to implement the latest hop theory and advanced brewing techniques, using a scientific approach to maximize the aromatic components of hops.
We focus on survivables, compounds that are retained during the brewing process and are said to create a strong aromatic impact in the finished beer. We explore brewing methods that effectively extract these aromatic compounds, striving to maximize the aroma of hops.

■Using the latest hop oil, it has a low alcohol content but is satisfying to drink.
Hop Frontier's latest limited edition, Hop Frontier Micro IPA, is based on Hop Frontier's hop theory and retains the hoppy and juicy aroma and flavor that allows you to fully enjoy the rich tropical hop aroma.We have attempted to design a low-alcohol beer that is satisfying to drink, using the latest hop oil in development provided by Yakima Chief Hops' hop innovation program, FWD .
As with "Hop Frontier Juicy IPA," we use Cryo Pop® Blend and Idaho7 to maximize the aroma of the hot side hops, but this time we're using the latest hop oils currently in development from "Yakima Chief Hops®," "YCH701_Mosaic" and "YCH701_Idaho7." By adding hop oils during fermentation, the hop extracts come into contact with the yeast, creating a "biotransformation" that brings out a unique, vibrant, and complex intertwining of aromatic compounds.
The saccharification program has also been changed to achieve a full-bodied beer with a low alcohol content, delivering a satisfying drink with a complex aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, and peach, all of which are hard to believe considering it's only 2.5% alcohol.

Far Yeast Hop Frontier Micro IPA will be available in limited quantities on the Far Yeast Brewing official web store from 12:00 on Tuesday, June 18th. Purchases on the official web store and shipments to beer bars, restaurants, and liquor stores nationwide will begin sequentially from Wednesday, June 19th.
