山梨県産レモンをあますことなく使用! 南ドイツのポピュラーなビアスタイルを “Japanese Summer Version”にアレンジ 限定醸造『Far Yeast RADLER 2024』 4月23日(火)販売開始

Using every last lemon from Yamanashi Prefecture! A popular Southern German beer style arranged into a "Japanese Summer Version." Limited-edition "Far Yeast RADLER 2024" goes on sale on Tuesday, April 23rd.

As part of its "Brewed with YAMANASHI" project , Far Yeast Brewing will begin selling its limited edition beer "Far Yeast RADLER 2024," made with lemons from Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture, on Tuesday, April 23rd.

Brewed together with Yamanashi - "Brewed with YAMANASHI" initiative
In 2020, the "Yamanashi Support Project" promoted the appeal of Yamanashi by using fruits and processed products that could not be sold on the market due to the COVID-19 pandemic as ingredients for beer. The project received a great response from both the market and consumers, and connections with producers and businesses within the prefecture also increased. After various initiatives, the project is now moving from a "support" phase to a "co-creation" phase.
In addition, starting this fiscal year, we have updated our corporate vision and values, clearly stating "co-creation and coexistence with the local community." We aim to promote sustainable business development, contribute to the future revitalization of the local community, and give back to the local economy.

We have once again reexamined our relationship with the local community and redefined the purpose and goals of the project, and starting this fiscal year, we have renamed the "Yamanashi Support Project" to "Brewed with YAMANASHI."

■ Traditional style "Radler" made with Yamanashi Prefecture's only lemon farmer
With renewed determination in the spring of 2024, this product, the first "Brewed with YAMANASHI," is a more powerful version of "RADLER," which was brewed last summer in response to demand for a drinkable style and as an attempt to serve as an alternative to lemon sour.
This drink uses 40kg of fresh lemons from Yazakiya Farm in Yamanashi City, the only lemon farm in Yamanashi Prefecture, and uses every last bit of the peel and juice. Just like last year, we've used the natural sweetener stevia to add a natural sweetness, but this one is less sweet than last year, resulting in a more refreshing drink with a low alcohol content and plenty of citrus flavor, perfect for getting through Japan's humid summers.

At Far Yeast Brewing, we will continue to create diverse value through beer with as many people as possible this year.

Far Yeast RADLER will be available for purchase in limited quantities on the Far Yeast Brewing official web store from 12:00 on Tuesday , April 23rd. Purchases on the official web store and shipments to beer bars, restaurants, and liquor stores nationwide will begin sequentially from Wednesday, April 24th.
