Enjoy a New Year's event with brewers! January 10th (Mon) Ise Kadoya Beer x Off Trail "Shoyu the Way" Beer Pairing Event!

A beer pairing event will be held on Monday, January 10th at Far Yeast Brewery & Grill, a Far Yeast Brewing store, where you can enjoy "Off Trail #19 Shoyu the Way," which went on general release on Thursday, December 23rd, with the brewer.

"Off Trail #19 Shoyu the Way" is an unprecedented soy sauce barrel-aged beer that was made possible by acquiring a traditional wooden soy sauce barrel used for brewing soy sauce from Ise Kadoya Beer, a company with a history of brewing miso and soy sauce dating back to 1923. It is an experimental beer that is truly in keeping with "Off Trail's" philosophy of forging ahead on "paths where no path has yet been taken."

This "Shoyu the Way" beer pairing event will feature " Off Trail Shoyu the Way ," which was just released last month on Thursday, December 23rd, along with the two companies' standard beers, "Ise Kado Pale Ale" and "Hop Frontier," along with a pairing menu created to complement each beer by the chef of Far Yeast Tokyo Brewery & Grill, Far Yeast Brewing's direct store in Gotanda, Tokyo. The event will feature guest Ise Kadoya Beer Brew Master Deguchi Zenichi, and will also feature a talk session with our head brewer Yanagi Takuya and a gift corner, allowing beer fans to enjoy craft beer to the fullest.

To commemorate the collaboration, five types of Ise Kadoya Beer will be on tap. (Pale Ale / Cat Pull / Smoky Cat / Yuzu Fragrance Sansho Ale / IPA) You can enjoy these guest beers in store, as add-ons during the event, and of course even if you're not attending the event.

After the event, we plan to have a networking event between the event participants and both brewers. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been difficult to create a forum for brewers to communicate directly with you, but we hope that this opportunity will allow us to meet with all beer fans.

Due to infection control measures, this event will be limited to 20 people and will be by reservation only.

<Notes regarding the event> Each store will be operating with thorough COVID-19 prevention measures in place. Please note that the event may be canceled before or during the event depending on the situation. The event will be held at two stores to avoid overcrowding. Please cooperate with infection control measures at each store (temperature checks and alcohol disinfection of hands). Also, please refrain from attending if you are unwell or if you are in a large group.
