"NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" 5th release: Just like a shake! Melty mouthfeel and unique aroma "Melon Milkshake IPA" "CBD Vanilla Milkshake IPA" Released simultaneously on Thursday, September 30th

Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kosuge Village, Yamanashi Prefecture; CEO: Shiro Yamada), a craft beer maker that distributes original Japanese beers to the world, will release ``Melon Milkshake IPA'' and ``CBD Vanilla Milkshake IPA'' to the general public on Thursday, September 30th as the fifth installment of the ``NIGHT WATCH PROJECT. ''

The "NIGHT WATCH PROJECT" is a project launched at the end of 2019 by a group of craft beer-loving professionals from various fields, including brewers, fashion, graphic designers, and architectural designers.

The fifth release, "Melon Milkshake IPA" and "CBD Vanilla Milkshake IPA," are a revival of the popular fruity Milkshake IPA and CBD Milkshake IPA combination from the third release. These Milkshake IPAs are characterized by a smooth , thick mouthfeel like a shake and a juicy, impactful aroma like a dessert.

There are two types: "Melon Milkshake IPA," which has a nostalgic melon soda aroma among the hop aroma, and " CBD Vanilla Milkshake IPA ," which uses CBD (cannabidiol), a compound that has become a huge hit in the American beauty and health industry in recent years. Both are perfect for relaxing, and each offers a unique flavor to enjoy.

The base beer for this brew has more lactose than ever before in order to achieve a sweet and full-bodied Milkshake IPA. It also uses five types of hops and hop products, primarily citrus-based aroma hops. In particular, we made extensive use of CRYO HOPS® *2 , a hop product with concentrated aromatic components, and dry-hopped multiple times to fully bring out the hop aroma.

*1 Milkshake IPA:
This IPA-based beer is made with lactose added, and has the bitterness of an IPA, plus a sweet taste, and a creamy mouthfeel with aromas of tropical fruit and vanilla.

*2 What is CRYO HOPS®?
Developed by global hop supplier YAKIMA Chief Hops® (headquarters: Washington State, USA; CEO: Ryan Hopkins), this hop product is made from condensed lupulin, which contains the compound responsible for beer's aroma, and pelletized to enhance the actual flavor and aroma of beer. It can effectively extract only the aroma components with less use than regular hop pellets, resulting in a stronger hop aroma and flavor experience while reducing greenness and astringency.

■ Melon Milkshake IPA

A carefully selected melon flavor is added to a base beer made with plenty of hops and lactose . The moment you pour it into the glass, the impactful melon flavor and citrus aroma of hops burst forth, creating a juicy, dank Milkshake IPA.

■ 『CBD Vanilla Milkshake IPA』

This new drink is formulated with CBD, which is expected to have a relaxing effect. Compared to the popular third release, "DAB CBD Hazy IPA," the amount of lactose has been increased, giving it a more dessert-like feel. This Milkshake IPA has a sweeter aroma and flavor than its predecessor, and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.

"Melon Milkshake IPA" and "CBD Vanilla Milkshake IPA" will be available nationwide from Thursday, September 30th, and pre-orders will begin on our online store from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 14th (only "Melon Milkshake IPA" will be available for sale on the online store. Shipments will begin sequentially from Wednesday, September 22nd).
