Announcement of the release of "Schrödinger's Sour," a collaboration beer with Brewpub Têtard Vallée
Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shiro Yamada) will release a limited edition collaboration beer with Brewpub Têtard Vallée (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), "Schrödinger's Sour," on Sunday, November 11th.
This sour beer is made using kettle souring and undergoes lactic acid fermentation. Its moderate acidity, malty sweetness, and bright flavor make it an excellent match with food.
Since the fermentation status of the lactic acid bacteria cannot be determined until the tank is opened, Mr. Kitada, a brewer at Brewpub Têtard Vallée, and our head brewer, Mr. Yanagi, named it "Schrödinger's Sour."
This product marks the second collaboration between our company and Brewpub Têtard Vallée. The first was "Far Yeast Abbey Baby! " (released in January 2018; no longer available), a Belgian abbey ale based on Brewpub Têtard Vallée's abbey-style beer "Goraikoyoku Beer," brewed at Far Yeast Brewing's Genryu brewery.
"Schrödinger's Sour" will only be available by the keg. It will be released on Sunday, November 11th at the "Vegetable Sommelier's Shop Sponsored by Nora! Autumn Vegetable Buffet and Collaborative Beer Release Event." After that, it will be available exclusively at Brewpub Têtard Vallée.
