To commemorate the publication of "The People Who Make Delicious Sake" on Sunday, December 3rd, we will be holding a talk event with author Masuda Akifumi.
First, we'll toast with a craft beer from Far Yeast Brewing. We'll talk all about sake and craft beer while enjoying four types of sake recommended by Masuda and some snacks that go well with the sake. The sake will be a surprise until the day of the event.
If you like craft beer but are also interested in sake and want to try different types, if you like sake and have opportunities to drink it but want to gain more serious knowledge, or if you simply love sake and want to ask Masuda a few questions over a drink, please join us!
We look forward to your participation.

Masafumi Masuda
Author. Born in Osaka in 1960, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Doshisha University. In his previous book on sake, "Where Can I Find Good Sake?" (Soshisha), he painstakingly visited the sake industry from upstream to downstream, from breweries and master brewers to liquor stores and izakayas. This time, he visits the breweries, the source of sake, to meet the people, and, while engaging with their thoughts and words, he carefully savors the delicious sake they have created. In addition to his sake-related work, he is also the author of the original story for the comic "Ippon!! Shiawase no Nihonshu" (published in Shueisha's Grand Jump). His major works include "Endless Thirst" and "Yoshimoto Kogyo no Jitai" (both published by Soshisha Bunko), and in recent years he has focused on novels, publishing titles such as "Joe's Dream" (Kodansha), "Education" (Shinchosha), and "Rare Bookstore Tsutaya Juzaburo" (Soshisha).
