限定醸造「馨和 KAGUA 」Rouge Special Edition 2017 を発売

Limited brew "KAGUA" Rouge Special Edition 2017 released

Starting November 13th, 2017, the craft beer brand "KAGUA" will be releasing a limited edition "Rouge Special Edition 2017."

"KAGUA" Rouge Special Edition 2017 is a limited edition 2017 brew of "KAGUA" based on "KAGUA" Rouge, brewed using yeast suitable for aging. It features a richer aroma and a high alcohol content of 11%, and can be aged for a long period of 5 years.

This product is the first brewed in four years since the highly acclaimed "KAGUA" Rouge Special Edition 2013.

In addition to two types of yeast, "wine yeast" and "Abbey yeast," smoked malt is used, and the smoky aroma reminiscent of a barrel adds an accent to the mellow flavor. The deep aroma and flavor are perfect for special occasions.

The product will be available in three varieties: a 20L keg, a 330ml bottle, and a 750ml bottle. Both the keg and the bottle will be available for purchase from November 13th.

We will continue to introduce new items such as limited edition brews, and aim to provide products that will please many people in a variety of everyday situations.

*KAGUA Rouge Special Edition 2017 uses yuzu and sansho pepper as secondary ingredients, so it is classified as a "happoshu" (low-malt beer) under Japan's liquor tax law. *Although it is a happoshu, the malt ratio and production method are the same as beer, and the tax rate is the same as beer. *KAGUA is classified as beer according to the standards of many countries, including Belgium, where it is produced, so it is sold as beer in overseas markets.
