「Far Yeast」東京ブロンドがビアフェス名古屋2015にて名古屋市長賞を受賞しました.

"Far Yeast" Tokyo Blonde won the Nagoya Mayor's Award at Beer Fest Nagoya 2015.

"Far Yeast" Tokyo Blonde won the "Nagoya Mayor's Award" at the Japan Beer Festival Nagoya 2015 on Sunday, August 10th, 2015.

The award is decided by the results of a vote by visitors among the winning beers of the Asia Beer Cup 2015*, and Far Yeast Tokyo Blonde (7th edition) won the gold medal in the Freestyle Bottle/Can category at the Asia Beer Cup 2015.

* (Note) Initially, it was stated that the award was given to the best beer selected based on the results of visitor voting and further judging by Craft Beer Association certified Master Beer Judges and Senior Beer Judges, but this has now been corrected to state that the award is actually determined by visitor voting. Far Yeast evolves its flavor by adjusting its recipe with each brew. Last month, its 7th edition won the Osaka Governor's Award at Beer Fest Osaka 2015. This is its 8th edition, following on from that award. Encouraged by the feedback and support of beer lovers, Far Yeast will continue to evolve in order to deliver even more delicious beer.

Far Yeast Tokyo Blonde is currently brewing its 9th edition. Up until now, we've been brewing with very limited hops, mainly single hops, but for the 9th edition, we're experimenting with blending, incorporating the relatively new New Zealand hop Rakau and the popular American hop blend Falconer's Flight Seven Seas. We hope you'll enjoy it.

[About "Far Yeast" playing the music of Tokyo]

The company was founded in April 2014 with the concept of creating a beer that symbolizes Tokyo, based on the idea that "as a craft beer company based in Tokyo, we want to create a beer that can spread the appeal of Tokyo to the world, a city that we can be proud of." Based on the theme of "Tokyo," a vibrant city that blends tradition with cutting-edge technology and evolves every day, our beer is brewed at a domestic contract brewery using an original recipe (mixture) designed by our company. They offer three types: the lager-style "Tokyo Blonde," the saison-style "Tokyo White," and the lager-style "Tokyo Blonde – Export," an export version. http://www.nipponcraftbeer.com/far-yeast
